DELETED STATION FILES
Deleted Station Files concern stations which were officially licensed by either the Department of Commerce, prior to the 1928 Federal Radio Commission or prior to the 1934 creation of the Federal Communication Commission, and which were Deleted by the appropriate agency (as opposed to purchased and continued in existence under a changed call sign).
These files, which are now housed at the National Archives in College Park, MD, come from the "Deleted Station Files" held at that location for the appropriate agency. These files also contain newspaper articles about the station. The source of those stories is indicated by handwritten notations following each such scan.
